I had never really dug into the differing opinions on when to use "insecure" vs "unsecure" (or "unsecured"). Your comment led to me digging in to understand more so I appreciate that. From what I have seen I do think "insecure" makes sense here https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/insecure (definition 2 "not safe or not protected")
